Fairfield Cultural Alliance

The Fairfield Cultural Alliance (FCA) is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to enhancing and celebrating the rich cultural life of Fairfield and the surrounding region.  We advocate for the arts, uplift local artists and organizations, and ensure that creativity thrives in every corner of our community.

What We Do —

Mini Grants- We award small grants (up to $500) to support local arts, culture, and heritage projects —from performances and exhibits to workshops, murals, and educational programming.

Cultural District Stewardship-We serve as stewards of the Fairfield Cultural District, recognized by the State of Iowa for its creative vitality. We work to preserve, promote, and grow this district through programming and advocacy.

Annual Celebration & Networking Gala- Each fall, we host a festive evening honoring grant recipients, celebrating community creativity, and connecting artists, organizations, and supporters. (Next one: Nov. 11, 2025; ICON Gallery; 7-9pm)

Monthly Last Tues. Arts Meet for cultural community networking.

Advocacy & Promotion- We amplify the work of local creatives, advocate for arts funding, and foster partnerships that strengthen Fairfield’s cultural landscape.
