Through masterful performances of music by Stephen Foster, John Philip Sousa, Scott Joplin, and other influential American composers, Scott Kirby traces more than 150 years of the nation’s musical heritage. Accompanied by archival photographs, scenic landscapes, and Kirby’s own watercolor paintings, the performance captures the charm of baseball games, prairie churches, one-room schoolhouses, barbershops, and community gatherings that helped shape the American experience.
