Kick off the holiday season at Fairfield’s Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony, a beloved community tradition that brings the town square to life with festive lights and holiday cheer.

The evening begins at 5:30 PM with holiday music performed by the Fairfield High School Choir. Around 6:00 PM, the community will gather as the current Citizens of the Year officially illuminate the square for the season.

After the lighting ceremony, Santa will welcome children in the Santa House to hear holiday wishes. Guests can also enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides around the square, along with free hot cocoa and cookies.

Presented by the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce, this annual event is a festive way to celebrate the start of the holiday season with family, friends, and neighbors.
