Judith Hans-Price

Judith Hans-Price is a seasoned illustrator, animator, and storyteller whose career began in New York City with IATSE’s Screen Cartoonist Union. She’s brought beloved characters to life as an assistant animator on Raggedy Ann & Andy and as a staff artist on Strawberry Shortcake, Berenstain Bears, and Gnomes. Her commercial animation credits include work for major brands like Kool-Aid, Crest, and Pepto-Bismol. With a creative journey spanning publishing, film, theater, and political parody, Judith has illustrated educational books, co-written animated screenplays, and even designed a stage dragon. She’s a two-time ADDY Award winner and has received multiple grants for her writing and screenwriting. Now based in the Midwest, Judith runs Hans Price Studio, where she continues to create expressive cartoons and illustrations for books, magazines, and commercial clients—always with a sharp eye and playful spirit.
